Early Life
Konstantin Sixt was born in Munich, Germany in 1982. He is the son of Erich Sixt, who transformed Sixt into a global player, and Regine Sixt. Konstantin studied in Geneva, Paris, and London. He earned an MSc in International Accounting and Finance from Cass Business School (City University), London.
Rise to Success
Konstantin Sixt joined Sixt SE in 2005 and initially managed the company's online business. He took over as Head of German Sales at SIXT Autovermietung in 2013. In February 2015, he was appointed to the Management Board, responsible for national and international sales and the company's global e-commerce business. Since 2020, he has also been responsible for revenue management. In June 2021, Konstantin and his brother Alexander were appointed Co-Chairmen of the Management Board and Co-CEOs of Sixt SE.
Key Business Strategies
Konstantin Sixt has been instrumental in Sixt's digital transformation, leading the company's expansion into new digital business models. Under his leadership, Sixt has integrated various mobility services, including car rental, car sharing, and ride-hailing, through its ONE platform and SIXT app. He is currently responsible for marketing, international Franchise Development & Business to Partners, and SIXT+.
Philanthropy
Konstantin's mother, Regine Sixt, founded the Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation, the official Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program of Sixt SE, which supports projects for children in need worldwide.
