Early Life
Kenneth Lo Lok Fung was born in October 1938, in mainland China, and is the oldest son of Hong Kong businessman Law Ting Pong, who was also involved in the textile industry. Lo and his family relocated to Hong Kong when he was young, initially residing in a refugee camp. At the age of 14, he began working in his parents' garment factory.
Rise to Success
In 1970, Kenneth Lo, along with his wife Yvonne, founded the Crystal Group. What started as a small sweater factory has grown into one of Asia's largest garment manufacturers. Lo's strategic vision and dedication led to significant expansion, with the company now operating in 20 locations and employing over 74,000 people. Crystal Group manufactures clothes for renowned brands such as H&M, Levi's, and Marks & Spencer, contributing to Lo's substantial net worth.

A key factor in Crystal Group's success has been its ability to adapt to market trends and build strong relationships with major retailers. The company's focus on quality and efficiency has enabled it to secure long-term contracts with prominent international brands. This strategy has led to an annual turnover of over US$2.5 billion. Philanthropy
Crystal Group has donated US$6.3 million since 1997 to charitable causes, providing support for eye cataract surgery and other medical support for hundreds of people in rural China.
