Early Life
Kathy Britton grew up immersed in the homebuilding industry. Her father, Bob Perry, founded Perry Homes in 1967, and she spent her childhood visiting construction sites and model homes. Her first job was working as a model home greeter, and her career path led her to the Perry Homes land acquisition division after law school. She holds a business degree from Baylor University and a law degree from the University of Houston.
Rise to Success
Britton took over as CEO of Perry Homes in 2013 after her father's passing and has been the executive chair since 2022. Under her leadership, Perry Homes expanded into several new markets, including Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth, and Florida, solidifying its position as a major homebuilder in Texas. Perry Homes has built over 65,000 homes across more than 120 communities.

Philanthropy
Kathy Britton founded the Perry Homes Foundation in 2017 and is a trustee of the Perry Family Foundation. She is also involved with St. John's School and the YMCA of Greater Houston, and serves on the board of visitors of MD Anderson Cancer Center.
