Juan Domingo Beckmann Legorreta was born in Mexico City in July 1967. He grew up in a family deeply rooted in the business world, particularly in the tequila industry. His father, Juan Francisco Beckmann Vidal, played a crucial role in his early exposure to the family business, José Cuervo.
Rise to Success
Beckmann Legorreta earned a degree in Business Administration from Universidad Anáhuac and a master's degree in marketing. He began his career at José Cuervo as the Manager of Tequila Centenario. He then became the Manager of New Product Development, where he launched the successful José Cuervo Reserva de la Familia brand. In 2002, he became the CEO of José Cuervo. Under his leadership, the company went public on the Mexican Stock Exchange in 2017.
