Christian Boehringer was born in Wiesbaden, Germany, in 1965. He is a descendant of the Boehringer family, the founders of the pharmaceutical giant Boehringer Ingelheim. Christian grew up with his brother Mathias, and their family has a long-standing legacy in the pharmaceutical industry. His great-grandfather, Albert Boehringer, founded the company in 1885.
Rise to Success
Christian Boehringer's career path included roles in various sectors before returning to Boehringer Ingelheim. He worked as a Pharma-Product Manager in the UK and then transitioned to a European Pharma Consulting firm, which he led for three years. In 2000, he joined Henkel KGaA's international management team in Düsseldorf for three years. He then returned to Boehringer Ingelheim, where he took responsibility for global CRM project management, followed by a role as Area Manager for the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
