Anthony Joseph Pratt was born on April 11, 1960, in Melbourne, Australia, to Polish-Jewish immigrants. He attended Mount Scopus Memorial College and graduated from Monash University, Melbourne, with a Bachelor of Economics (Hons) in 1982.
Rise to Success
Pratt began his career at McKinsey & Company in 1982. He later joined the family business, Visy Industries, and in 1991, spearheaded the company's expansion into the United States. Under his leadership, Pratt Industries experienced significant growth. He returned to Australia in 2009 to become the Global Executive Chairman of Visy Industries.

Pratt's business strategy has focused on sustainable packaging solutions and integrating recycling into packaging production. He oversaw the acquisition of numerous corrugated manufacturing companies, which now form a core part of Pratt Industries.
