Early Life
Alexandra Schörghuber, née Stumpf, was born on July 24, 1958, in Frankfurt, Germany. She grew up as the daughter of a Protestant pastor and spent her childhood in Erlenbach am Main and Straubing. After completing her schooling, she pursued an apprenticeship as a hotel clerk, gaining valuable experience in Germany, Switzerland, and Bermuda.
Rise to Success
Alexandra's career took a significant turn in 2008 when she became Chairwoman of the board of trustees and a member of the Board of Directors of the Schörghuber Unternehmensgruppe. This marked her rise to leadership within the family business. She took over the family business after the death of her husband, Stefan Schörghuber, in 2008. Before that, she held various supervisory board and management tasks in the family's private sector. She also served as Vice President of Arabella Hotelbetriebe AG and took over Arabella Vermögensverwaltung AG. She is the widow of Stefan Schörghuber, who died unexpectedly in 2008. The family also runs a riding stable.
