Early Life and Education
Ziv Aviram was born in 1959. After serving in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) as an Infantry Officer, he pursued Industrial Engineering and Management studies at Ben Gurion University, graduating in 1984.
Rise to Success
Aviram's career began with leadership roles in retail, serving as CEO of Keter Books and Gali Shoes. He then led Atrakzia Resort Park as CEO in 1993, turning all three companies from losses to profitability. In 1999, Aviram co-founded Mobileye with Professor Amnon Shashua. He served as President and CEO until Intel acquired Mobileye in 2017 for $15.3 billion. In 2010, he co-founded OrCam Technologies with Amnon Shashua, serving as President and CEO for 11 years and currently as co-chairman. Following his Mobileye retirement, Aviram became a consultant and investor in various tech companies.
