Early Life
Walter Wang was born in Taiwan on March 25, 1965. He is the youngest of five children. When he was nine, he moved to Berkeley, California with his mother to be closer to his sister, Cher Wang. Wang's father was Wang Yung-ching, the founder of Formosa Plastics.
Rise to Success
Wang's career began with experience at Formosa Plastics before acquiring JM Manufacturing in 2005. He later acquired PW Eagle in 2007. By merging the two companies, Wang built JM Eagle into the world's largest plastic pipe manufacturer, with headquarters in Los Angeles. Under his leadership, JM Eagle has become a major supplier of plastic pipes for various industries, including water, sewer, and gas systems across North America.
