Todd Lawrence Boehly was born on September 20, 1973, in Bethesda, Maryland. He attended Landon School in Bethesda, where he participated in wrestling. Boehly graduated from the College of William & Mary in 1996 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance. He also studied at the London School of Economics.
Rise to Success
Boehly's career began in the financial sector. He worked at Citibank and CS First Boston before joining Guggenheim Partners in 2001. At Guggenheim, he launched and led the credit investing business, eventually becoming the president of the company. In 2015, Boehly founded Eldridge Industries, a holding company with a diverse portfolio of investments.
