In 1976, he became an Executive Director of MWE Holdings Berhad. His business interests span across various sectors, including telecommunications, lotteries, and insurance. He made his fortune by selling his stake in Thai telecom company InTouch in 2013 and has stakes in listed gaming company Magnum and textile firm MWE.
