Early Life
Scott Nuttall, born around 1972, began his career in finance after graduating summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School. Before joining KKR, he gained experience at The Blackstone Group. Nuttall's early career laid the foundation for his future success in the private equity industry.
Rise to Success
Nuttall joined KKR in 1996, where he quickly rose through the ranks. He played a pivotal role in KKR's strategic development, including leading the firm's public listing, developing its balance sheet strategy, and overseeing the development of credit and hedge fund efforts. In October 2021, Nuttall was appointed Co-CEO alongside Joseph Bae, succeeding KKR co-founders Henry Kravis and George Roberts.

As Co-CEO, Nuttall has been instrumental in KKR's diversified global strategy. He has spearheaded the expansion into insurance, capital markets, and credit businesses.
