Early Life
Marius Nacht was born in Romania in 1962. At the age of three, he immigrated to Ashkelon, Israel. He graduated from the Talpiot program, an elite division of the Israeli army, in 1980. He holds a B.S. cum laude in Physics and Mathematics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (1983) and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering and Communication Systems from Tel Aviv University (1989).
Rise to Success
Nacht co-founded Check Point Software Technologies in 1993 with Gil Shwed and Shlomo Kramer. The company quickly became a global leader in cybersecurity. He served in various managerial roles at Check Point, including R&D, Product, Sales, Marketing, and Support, before stepping down as Chairman in 2020. His leadership helped Check Point achieve a market capitalization of approximately $18 billion. In 2016, he co-founded aMoon, an Israeli healthtech VC firm.
