Early Life
Lynsi Lavelle Snyder-Ellingson was born on May 5, 1982, in San Dimas, California. She is the only child of Lynda and H. Guy Snyder and the only grandchild of Harry and Esther Snyder, who founded In-N-Out Burger in 1948 in Baldwin Park, California. Growing up, she spent her early childhood in Glendora, California, before moving to Shingletown, California, where she lived on a ranch.
Rise to Success
Lynsi's career with In-N-Out began at a young age, working in various departments within the company. In 2010, she became the sixth president of In-N-Out Burger, taking over from her brother-in-law. Under her leadership, the company has expanded, growing to over 400 locations. She gained full control of the company on her 35th birthday.

Lynsi has focused on preserving the quality and consistency that In-N-Out is known for. She has resisted the pressure to franchise or expand too rapidly, ensuring that the company maintains its high standards. She has also overseen the addition of hot chocolate to the menu. In-N-Out Burger is known for its commitment to fresh ingredients, never freezing its products, and maintaining its company-owned structure.
Philanthropy
In addition to her business endeavors, Lynsi is deeply committed to philanthropy. She founded the Slave 2 Nothing Foundation in 2016, which aims to help individuals and families affected by substance abuse and/or human trafficking. She also serves as the president of the In-N-Out Burger Foundation, which supports organizations that combat child abuse and provide resources for at-risk youth. She has also donated to Biola University.
