Lukas Walton is an American billionaire heir and philanthropist, widely recognized for his significant stake in Walmart, the world's largest retailer. Born in 1986, he is the grandson of Walmart founder Sam Walton. Following the death of his father, John T. Walton, in a plane crash in 2005, Lukas inherited a substantial portion of his father's estate. Beyond his inherited wealth, Lukas has established himself as a leader in impact investing, focusing on environmental sustainability, particularly in climate change, sustainable agriculture, and ocean conservation. He serves as the Executive Chairman and Founder of Builders Vision, an investment and philanthropy platform, deploying capital to address critical environmental and social challenges.
