Jack Cogen was born in 1956. He earned a B.A. from Rutgers University, an M.S. in Mathematics, and an MBA from New York University.
Rise to Success
Cogen's career began at Chase Manhattan Bank. He then became a key figure in the carbon trading and carbon markets sector. He is the co-founder of Natsource, where he served as CEO from 1994-2014. Cogen is currently a director at CoreWeave, an AI cloud computing company. CoreWeave went public in March 2025, and Cogen owns approximately 4% of the company.
