Bennett Rosenthal was born in 1963. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He currently serves as the chair of the Graduate Executive Board at Wharton.
Rise to Success
Rosenthal's career began at Drexel Burnham Lambert in 1986. He subsequently joined Merrill Lynch & Co. in 1989, where he served as a Managing Director in the Global Leveraged Finance Group. In 1997, Rosenthal co-founded Ares Management Corp., where he currently serves as a Director, Partner, and Chairman of the Ares Private Equity Group. The company has grown to manage $419 billion in assets.

Rosenthal's key business strategies include a focus on alternative investments and private equity. He has played a pivotal role in Ares Management's expansion, including its public listing in 2014. Additionally, he is the Lead Managing Owner of the Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC), a Major League Soccer team, demonstrating his diverse business interests.
