Early Life
Alejandro Santo Domingo was born in New York City on February 13, 1977. He is the son of Julio Mario Santo Domingo, a Colombian billionaire, and Beatrice Dávila. He holds American, Colombian, and Spanish citizenship. Santo Domingo attended the Hotchkiss School and later earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Harvard University.
Rise to Success
Santo Domingo's career is largely defined by his role in managing the Santo Domingo Group, a family conglomerate with interests spanning finance, media, and consumer goods. He is a senior managing director at Quadrant Capital Advisors, the New York-based family office managing the Santo Domingo Group's diverse investments. Following his father's death in 2011, Alejandro inherited a significant portion of the family's stake in SABMiller, which played a pivotal role in the 2016 merger with Anheuser-Busch InBev. This merger resulted in approximately 4.94% ownership in AB InBev for the Santo Domingo family.
