Early Life
Alejandro Santo Domingo was born in New York City on February 13, 1977. He is the son of the Colombian billionaire Julio Mario Santo Domingo and Beatrice Dávila. He is a U.S., Colombian, and Spanish citizen. He attended the Hotchkiss School and later earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Harvard University.
Rise to Success
Santo Domingo's career has been centered around managing the Santo Domingo Group, his family's conglomerate. Following his father's death in 2011, Alejandro inherited control of the conglomerate. He is the Senior Managing Director at Quadrant Capital Advisors, Inc. in New York City. He is also a board member of Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev) and represents family interests as one of its largest shareholders. In 2023, Santo Domingo and some of his family were investors in a group led by Josh Harris that purchased the Washington Commanders for $6.05 billion.
