Early Life
Vasily Anisimov was born on September 19, 1951, in Almaty, Kazakh SSR. He graduated with a degree in economics from the Alma-Ata Institute of National Economy in 1977. After graduation, he worked as a commodity expert and later became the commercial director of a trading base in Kazakhstan.
Rise to Success
Anisimov's career evolved through various roles, including heading the working supply department of the Kalinin Nuclear Power Plant and directing a Moscow-based hardware wholesaler. In 1989, he founded Trust Company, which exported non-ferrous metals. In 1994, Anisimov established Coalco, a real estate development company, which initially focused on the metals industry before transitioning to real estate. Coalco manages projects in residential and industrial real estate, with significant land holdings in the Moscow region. He was also a shareholder of Metalloinvest, a Russian industrial conglomerate.

Anisimov's business strategy has been marked by diversification and adaptability. He expanded his business interests to include real estate and invested in companies like WAVIoT and the Kristall Vodka plants. He has demonstrated the ability to identify high-potential investment opportunities.
