Patrick K. "Pat" Neal was born on March 4, 1949, in Des Moines, Iowa. He graduated from the Wharton School of Finance at the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in economics. Neal served in the U.S. Army Reserve from 1969 to 1975.
Rise to Success
Neal founded Neal Communities in 1970. Under his leadership, the company has built over 25,000 homes and lots in Southwest Florida, becoming one of the largest homebuilders in the region. Neal successfully navigated economic upswings and downturns, expanding into multiple counties. He is currently developing Skysail, a planned 640-acre community in Naples with approximately 1,800 homes.
