Early Life
Ankur Jain was born in Bellevue, Washington, and grew up in Redmond, Washington. His parents, Anu and Naveen Jain, are both entrepreneurs in the technology industry. By age 11, Jain had created the website MyOnlineQuiz.com. He attended the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Rise to Success
In 2008, Jain founded the Kairos Society, an incubator for young entrepreneurs. Through Kairos, Jain identified entrepreneurs from universities and worked with them to launch ventures. In 2012, Jain founded technology company Humin, which was later acquired by Tinder, where Jain became the VP of Product. Jain's success is primarily attributed to Bilt Rewards, a company he founded that allows renters to earn rewards on rent payments. In January 2024, Bilt Rewards was valued at $3.1 billion. In July 2025, it raised $250 million from private investors at a $10.75 billion valuation.
