Early Life
Anita Goldberg, born in 1951 or 1952, is the daughter of Holocaust survivors, Rose and Carl Goldberg. Her parents' experiences during World War II significantly shaped her values and philanthropic focus. She graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Education in 1972 and earned a Master of Education from the University of North Florida.
Rise to Success
In 1978, Anita moved to Charleston, South Carolina, with her husband, Jerry Zucker. Together, they launched InterTech Group in 1982. Jerry Zucker, a prolific inventor, led the company for many years. Following Jerry's death in 2008, Anita Zucker became the Chairperson and CEO of the InterTech Group.
