Early Life and Education
Andy Fang was born in San Jose, California, in 1992 to Taiwanese immigrant parents. He grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he was exposed to computer science early on. Fang attended The Harker School in San Jose, California, graduating in 2010. He then attended Stanford University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. The company expanded rapidly, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, and went public in December 2020 on the New York Stock Exchange.

As of 2025, he serves as Head of LaunchPad, focused on new software products.
