Early Life and Education
Rajiv Jain was born in India and spent his early years there. He later moved to the United States to pursue higher education, earning an MBA in Finance and International Business from the University of Miami. He also holds a Master's degree from the University of Ajmer and an undergraduate degree in accounting from Panjab University.
Rise to Success
Jain's career in finance began in 1994 at Vontobel Asset Management, where he served as a co-portfolio manager for emerging markets and international equities. He rose through the ranks, becoming the Chief Investment Officer and co-CEO. During his tenure, he helped grow Vontobel's assets under management significantly. In 2016, Jain founded GQG Partners, where he currently serves as Chairman and CIO. Under his leadership, GQG Partners has grown to manage over $150 billion in assets, with a focus on global, US, and emerging markets equities.
