Konstantin Ivanovich Strukov was born in 1958 in the Orenburg region of Russia. He graduated from the Magnitogorsk Mining and Metallurgical Institute in 1980 with a degree in mining engineering.

Rise to Success

Strukov began his career in the mining sector in 1980 and gained experience in various roles. In 1997, he became the head of the Yuzhuralzoloto association, which he later transformed into the Yuzhuralzoloto Group of Companies (UGC). Under his leadership, UGC experienced significant growth, becoming one of Russia's top gold producers. He restructured debts and acquired key assets. Strukov also invested in coal mining.

Key Business Strategies

Strukov's success can be attributed to his focus on technological innovation, strategic acquisitions, and efficient management. He expanded UGC's production capacity and modernized its processing technology. Strukov has also been involved in the coal industry, serving as General Director of Chelyabinsk Coal.

Philanthropy

Strukov has been involved in community development and is a member of the Legislative Assembly of the Chelyabinsk Region. He is also a member of the United Russia party.
