Early Life and Education

Harry Klagsbrun was born in 1954 in Sweden. He has a B.A. in journalism from Stockholm University, an MBA from New York University, and a Master of Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics.

Rise to Success

After graduating, Klagsbrun began his career in corporate finance at Smith Barney in New York. He later held key positions at Svenska Handelsbanken, where he was Head of Corporate Finance, and served as CEO of the Alfred Berg Group. In 2001, he became a senior executive and Head of Asset Management at the SEB Group. In 2006, he became a Senior Partner at the Swedish private equity firm EQT AB. Klagsbrun is currently the Founder and Chairman of Harmar, a private investment company based in Stockholm.
