Hallen's career began with roles at Applied Predictive Technologies (later sold to Mastercard) and Google, where he honed his skills in product management and business development. In 2012, he co-founded Klaviyo with Andrew Bialecki, a platform designed to revolutionize how businesses create customer relationships through data-driven marketing. Klaviyo initially bootstrapped for three years before securing seed funding, a testament to their commitment to building a sustainable business model. Klaviyo went public in 2023.
