Early Life and Education
Alexandre Behring was born in Brazil in 1967. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC/RJ). Driven by a desire for further knowledge, he pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Harvard Business School, graduating in 1995. During his time at Harvard, he was recognized as a Baker Scholar and Loeb Scholar, demonstrating exceptional academic achievements.
Rise to Success
Behring's career began with co-founding Modus OSI Technologies, a technology company in 1989. From 1994 to 2004, he was a Partner and Board Member at GP Investimentos, the largest private-equity firm in Latin America. In 1998, he co-founded América Latina Logística (ALL), a private sector railroad company. In 2004, Behring co-founded 3G Capital, a global investment firm. He played a pivotal role in 3G's acquisition of Heinz in 2013 and has been instrumental in the success of Restaurant Brands International and The Kraft Heinz Company.
